Manfred von Richthofen did his first flight with his new whole red Fokker Dr I no 425/17 on 20 April 1918.
First patrol was very successful : two Sopwith F.1 Camels were shoot down by him. Pilot of first downed Camel : Richard Raymond Baker - commander of 3th squadron died but last victim : Rhodesian pilot David Greswolde Lewis survived the crash and was taken POW. On the next day : 21 April 1918 Red Baron died flying that new Fokker Dr 1. So 425/17 was in use only for two days. Models and textures by me.
