54th victory

On 23 June near Ypres Manfred von Richthofen piloting Albatros DV attacked SPAD VII which belonged to 23 RFC squadron. After short fight British airplane was gliding down pulling the smoke trail. The fight was credited as 54 th victory of Manfred von Richtoffen ( and it was even confirmed from the ground troops ) However pilot of the SPAD Robert WAllace Farquhar just on time turned off the engine and near ground started it again. He landed safety on his own aerodrome and airplane was slighty dammaged. It was only one time when MvR was credited wrongly for victory. Rest of his victories are very well documented and confirmed. Robert WAllace Farquhar died on 30th October 1918 fighting vs pilots of Jasta 2. Models and textures by me created with blender and PS.
